How to Use the New Survey Form Editor

Adding a New Question

You can either drag and drop or click a question type to add it to the form.

Adding a Question

Rewording a Question

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then use the text box to reword it: Rewording a Question

Rewording an Answer

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then use the answer text box to reword it: Rewording an Answer

Deleting a Question

Unless it’s a required question (used for analytics), you can delete questions.

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then use the delete button to remove it: Removing a Question

Adding an Answer

Unless it’s a required question (used for analytics), you can add an answer to a question.

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then click the “Add option” button to add a new answer: Adding an Answer

Removing an Answer

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then click the “x” next to the answer to remove it: Removing an Answer

Dynamically Showing and Hiding Questions

First click into the question: Click on a question

Then use the visibility conditions to hide it depending on the answers to other questions: Edit visibility

Ending a Survey Early

By editing the survey form’s logic you can end a survey early depending on the answers.

Differences from the Old Editor

The new survey form editor lets you: - See why protected questions are protected - Reword the answers in protected questions - Remove answers from protected questions

Unlike the previous survey form editor you can’t: - Jump to individual pages while testing the survey form - Change the text that shows up when a survey is completed - Hide pages

The goal is to add these remaining features (and more) to the new survey form editor, but if you need them (or run into any problems) you can switch back to the old editor (see below).
